Exhibitors & Vendors

The University of Maryland Eastern Shore’s Small Farm Conference attracts between 150-200 participants each year. These participants are primarily small farmers or those who aspire to farm, not to include: a good mix of university researchers, representatives from federal and state agriculture agencies, various agricultural businesses and organizations, consumers and others.

As an exhibitor or vendor, this conference may provide the perfect venue for participants to learn more about the programs and/or services your business/organization has to offer.   Your participation also demonstrates your commitment to supporting and sustaining small farms in Maryland and along the Delmarva Peninsula.

The 2021 Small Farm Conference will offer a limited amount of exhibit space. Therefore, we invite you to sign-up as an exhibitor soon as registration opens.

Rate for Exhibitors and Vendors*:

·         $100 for (1) standard booth space

Standard booth space includes (1) paid registration, exhibit table with covering, chair, signage, and name recognition in conference program.

*Note: For-profit businesses who plan to sell products/merchandise during event must obtain a business license or meet requirements as outlined by the State License Bureau in Maryland.

Helpful Tips for our Exhibitors/Vendors

Parking/Unloading:  The exhibitor and vendor tradeshow will be held in the ballroom located in the UMES – Student Services Center.  For your convenience, exhibitors may unload/load items in the circle to the front left entrance of the building (pillars).  Once completed, you may park your vehicle in the designated fenced parking lot across the street.

Set-Up Times:  Exhibitors and Vendors are free to set up as early as 1:00pm on Thursday, November 5, 2021.  However, participant traffic doesn’t normally begin until the afternoon sessions/workshops have ended around 5:30pm continuing through the networking reception from 5:30pm-7:30pm. We will also be having the ever so popular Special Events Farmers Market during the Conference to also be held at the Student Services Center from 12:00pm-5:00pm.

On Saturday, November 6th, the times designated for the exhibitor/vendor tradeshow are from 10:30am-12noon and again from 3:00pm-3:30pm.  However, participants will casually frequent the exhibitor and vendor area throughout the day at their leisure. We are providing incentives for registrants to network with vendors through a raffle to be held at the completion of the conference (ie. the more vendors they visit the more tickets that can be entered into the raffle).
