Highlights of this year’s conference!
Entrepreneurship Training & One-on-One Business Coaching! – Are you looking for resources or training to help you realize your dream of starting or growing your small business or farm operation? If so, then this conference is just for you! Through a partnership agreement with USDA Rural Development Business and Cooperative Program, the University of Maryland Eastern Shore is partnering with local, state, and private businesses and organizations to provide participants with practical real-world advice and timely seminars on what it takes to start and succeed in business. Seasoned professionals will be available to offer one-on-one consultations.
Brand New Food Demonstration Classes! – This year’s conference will be offering (2) new food demonstration classes on using dehydration and simple freezing methods. These engaging sessions will focus on experiential, hands-on learning with interactive activities and an “actual” processing experience using research-based principles as recommended by USDA. Friday’s session will focus on dehydration and Saturday’s session on freezing. Spaces are limited. Pre-registration is required. (*Note: Saturday’s class will run from 1:30pm to approximately 4:30pm)
